  7. You casually spend $84 on flowers and then refuse to buy a $3 coffee because “times are tight.”
  8. You know which bees are polite and which ones have attitude.
  9. You’ve started referring to certain plants as “dramatic.”
  10. You go outside for “five minutes” and return two hours later with a shovel, a sunburn, and emotional clarity.
  11. You’ve ever crouched down to inspect a new sprout like a Victorian botanist discovering an undiscovered species.
  12. You own at least one pair of shoes that are technically just mud now.
  13. You photograph new leaves, flowers, and plants like a proud grandparent
  14. You’ve developed strong opinions about mulch.
  15. You now have names for birds, butterflies, rabbits, and the neighborhood cats
  16. You understand that ‘deadheading’, ‘pricking out’, and ‘hardening off’ are not rude words
  17. You buy plants first and figure out where they’re going later. Possibly never.
  18. You’ve become emotionally attached to a clematis or climbing rose.
  19. Your camera roll is 74% flowers, 12% sunsets, and 14% suspicious leaf damage.
  20. You can now use words like ‘microclimate’ and ‘hybrid’ in everyday conversations
