Dr. Pam Stephens Lehenbauer, Ph.D., MBA, PMHNP – BC, is an epidemiologist, researcher, nurse practitioner, and popular guest speaker. She is also a Certified Home Horticulturalist and conservationist who has won several awards for gardening, landscaping, and creating sustainable wildlife habitats. Pam is the creative voice behind the blog, Mother Nature’s Apprentice, and writes about topics related to gardening, health, nature and the environment, quirky science, and life – often with a healthy dose of humor. Her first book, Wonder and Joy for the Wired and Tired (2025), has appeared on Amazon’s nonfiction bestseller lists numerous times. It was named one of Aspire Magazine’s Top 10 Inspiring Books for July and recently received an international Gold Medal from the Independent Publisher Book Awards in the Inspirational/Spiritual category. She is currently writing a romantic comedy set in New England that will be available in early 2027.

Pam is married to Marty, a family doctor, who is kind, funny, infinitely patient, and also a nature lover. They are the natural and adopted parents of several human and non-human children who walk, fly, flutter, swim, crawl, and burrow. They live and garden on a small acreage in beautiful northern Kentucky.
