Saturday, September 19, is National Clean-up Day
And — a reminder that taking care of the planet doesn’t always require doing something big.
Pick up the cup someone left on the trail.
Take a bag along on your walk.
Clean up a little stretch of your neighborhood.
Remove some trash from a creek or park.
Invite a friend and make an hour of it.
One person picking up one piece of litter may not seem like much. But imagine if millions of us picked up just one.
Caring for nature begins with noticing it. And loving a place means leaving it a little better than you found it.
After all, Earth is the only home we all share.
So this Saturday, let’s do one small thing for our home.
BE A GOOD HUMAN. HELP KEEP OUR HOME CLEAN.
