My Garden – A Poem

Alone, I walk in silent footsteps atop fragrant thyme, away from the din of humanity. Here, I am safe and calm, in this tranquil paradise amidst the lilies, and the daisies, and the lilacs, and the marigolds. I wait for them to arrive. The hummingbirds and wrens. The fireflies and toads. The ants and the honeybees. And of course, the butterflies. In my sanctuary, my soul roams freely. I am joyful and at peace in my garden. — About Mother Nature’s Apprentice  Dr. Pam Lehenbauer (AKA Mother Nature’s Apprentice) has won several awards for gardening, landscaping, and creating sustainable wildlife
